The titanium dioxide mist is so fine, it is invisible to the eye. The titanium dioxide nano particle size is less than 0.4 microns. When ambient light falls on the nano titanium dioxide coating, a process called Photo-Catalytic Oxidation (PCO) occurs. Photons of light are captured by the nano titanium dioxide which, in turn, releases negative ion particles. These negative ions are capable of neutralizing allergens, killing pathogens (virus, bacteria, moulds and fungi), as well as neutralizing odours and volatile organic compounds (VOC).
